IndyCar at Iowa: Quick Preview

The NTT IndyCar Series returns to Iowa Speedway for the first time since the doubleheader in 2020, for the HyVee IndyCar Doubleheader, with the Hy-veeDeals.com 250 on Saturday at 4 pm ET, and the Hy-Vee Salute to Farmers 300 on Sunday at 3pm ET, both on NBC. IndyCar also brings along the Indy Lights support series, which races on Saturday at 12:10 PM ET on Peacock.

Iowa Speedway is a short D-Shaped oval, approximately .894 miles in length, in Newton, Iowa. During the last doubleheader, both races were won by Team Penske, as Pagenaud and then Newgarden swept for the Captain. Quite a few drivers in the field have never been to Iowa, which means that Friday practice will be very important. The 90 minute session will start at 4:30 ET on Peacock, shortly after Indy Lights practice wraps up. A full schedule for the weekend is seen below
