Bridgeport Motorsports Park hosted the modifieds and 602 Crate sportsman for their 3rd points race of the season under cool, cloudy and rain free conditions.
The modified feature saw Davey Sammons lead the first 4 laps, until Dominick Buffalino took over the top spot for the next 15 laps, only to fall out with mechanical problems hand the lead back over to Sammons. Sammons defended the lead until lap 29 when Ryan Godown swooped in and pulled away to take his second trip this season to Bridgeport’s victory lane.
The 602-crate feature was led to green by Ethan Bill, who led the first 7 laps until Brian Papiez used the bottom lane on a restart to take the lead and never looked back as he made his first trip to victory lane for the 2022 season.
