Jimmy Leiby to Make Modified Debut at Thunder on the Hill with the All Star Circuit of Champions at Grandview Speedway on August 26

Grandview Speedways’s weekly sportsman driver Jimmy Leiby will make his modified debut in a 2018 Teo with a Precision built spec motor.  Jimmy is the youngest of three brothers who all have raced with Jesse currently racing modified at Grandview Speedway.

Jimmy commented “I am extremely excited to get in a modified this year and it has always been a dream of mine.  This was all made possible by Dave Eastlake and family who have provided the spec 358 motor for my first modified venture.  I cannot thank Dave and his family for the opportunity to race in the modified division.”

Plans are for Jimmy to debut his modified at the August 26th Thunder on the Hill event at Grandview Speedway.  He also plans to attend the Freedom 76er on September 18th and Thunder on the Hill on October 16th both at Grandview Speedway.

Jimmy noted “We make the 2 hour ride to Grandview every week because of the top flight competition in both the modified and sportsman division week in and week out and the fan support at Grandview is second to none.  I would like to thank all my sponsors, dad and the entire Leiby racing team who have been with us every step of the way through this season and helped make this opportunity become a reality.”
