Ryan Watt Claims $10,000 Forrest Rogers Memorial for First Win of Season at Grandview

Ryan Watt methodically and patiently moved through the field until he passed Ron Haring for the lead on lap 39 and then kept Jeff Strunk at bay for the final 11 laps to take a long overdue first Grandview win of the season.

Ron Haring led the first 38 laps only to fade and yield the lead to Ryan Watt who moved forward from his 9th place starting position.  Jeff Strunk moved from his 14th starting position and applied pressure on Watt for the lead only to finish a season best 2nd place at Grandview.   A handful of cautions came out during the 50 lap event and several top runners saw their night end early with Brett Kressley, Chris Esposito, Tanner Van Doren, Mike Gular and Doug Manmiller heading to the pits with a DNF.

Heat races for the 42 car modified field were won by Brett Kressley, Cody Manmiller, Eric Kormann, and Mike Lisowski.

Consolation races were won by Eric Biehn and Nate Brinker.
