Cody Manmiller Holds off Final Lap Charge by Ryan Grim to Pick up his First Modified Win at Grandview Speedway

Polesitter Cody Manmiller broke away early in the feature and as the laps hit 5 to go the gap was quickly closing but Cody held off a charging Ryan Grim to take the win by a .21 margin of victory to drive into his first modified victory  lane at Grandview.

Cody took the early lead Ryan Beltz and after two lap 3 cautions it was Eric Biehn moving into 2nd place as the race then went green for the remaining 27 laps.  Cody opened nearly a 2 second lead until Ryan Grim passed Biehn for 2nd and Ryan then closed the gap every lap until the final margin of victory was only .21 seconds for Cody’s first career modified win.

  Heat race winners for the 33 car modified field were Joe Funk, Timmy Buckwalter and Cody Manmiller.

 Craig Von Dohren won the consolation races.

Next up on Saturday, July 20 will be a two-division program and 6-29 modified makeup consolations and feature under the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series banner for the T.P. Trailer 358 Modifieds and T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman. The program will consist of the 6/29/24 makeup race and qualifying races leading up to the 25-lap Sportsman and 30-lap Modified main events.  Pit gates open at 4:00 and Spectator gates at 5:00 with hot laps at 6:00 and racing at 7:30.
