Mark Kemmerer Claims his First Sportsman Win of Season at Grandview Speedway

Mark Kemmerer withstood 4 restarts and lead the feature from green to checkered to take his first win of the 2024 at Grandview Speedway.

Outside Polesitter Mark Kemmerer took the early lead and never looked back as he pulled away from second place Steve Young on four different restarts to take his first win since the 2022 season.

The heat races were won by Steve Young, Colton Perry, Jesse Landis and Mark Kemmerer.

The consolation races were won by  Ronnie Solomon and Decker Swinehart.

The next racing event will be a Thunder on the Hill race program featuring the USAC National Sprint Tour along with the 358 Modifieds in a classic double-header on June 11 starting at 7:30 pm.

The USAC non-wing Sprints will compete in the 40-lap Jesse Hockett Classic which is the opening race of the 17th annual USAC Eastern Storm, will $6000 going to the race winner following a series of qualifying events.

Next up on Saturday, June 15 will be a two-division program under the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series banner for the T.P. Trailer 358 Modifieds and T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman. The program will consist of qualifying races leading up to the 30-lap Modified and 25-lap Sportsman main events.  Pit gates open at 4:00 and Spectator gates at 5:00 with hot laps at 6:00 and racing at 7:30.
