John Willman Finishes What He Started Two Weeks ago and Wins Held Over Feature at Grandview Speedway

John Willman had to wait two weeks to run the held over feature after posting his best heat race performance of the season at Grandview Speedway. It turned out to be well worth the wait since just two weeks later he would post his first win of the 2024 season.

After the two-week delay, John hit the track quickly proving that his 74W was ready to go at the drop of the green.    On lap 7, John moved into the lead from his 4th starting position and then held the lead through seven restarts.  On the final lap Craig Von Dohren made one last charge at Willman but John was able to hold on for his first since September 2019.

Heat race winners for the 39-car modified field were Chris Gambler, Bobby Gunther-Walsh, Kevin Graver Jr and Louden Reimert.

Jeff Strunk & Craig Von Dohren won the consolation races.
