Brett Kressley Back on Top at Grandview with  Modified Win

Brett Kressley drove from his 10th starting position to first place in 13 laps to take his first win of the 2024 and rebound from an opening day crash DNQ last week at the Bruce Rogers Memorial.

Polesitter Eric Biehn held a strong lead for the first 9 laps until Jared Umbenhauer took over the lead for three laps until Kressley charged from 10th to 2nd in the first 13 green flag laps and then took the over the lead from Jared Umbenhauer on the first restart of the night on lap 13.  Kressley held off Mike Gular in 2nd and Jared Umbenhauer 3rd.

Heat race winners for the 41 car modified field were Jared Umbenhauer, Brandon Edgar, Eric Biehn & Ron Harring.

 Michael Storms and Ryan Watt won the consolation races.

Next up on Saturday, April 20 will be a two-division program under the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series banner for the T.P. Trailer 358 Modifieds and T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman. The program will consist of qualifying races leading up to the 30-lap Modified and 25-lap Sportsman main events.
