Doug Manmiller Captures First Modified Win of Season at Grandview Speedway

Doug Manmiller survived 5 early cautions to track down leader Ron Haring on lap 25 and take the lead and drive into victory lane with a 2.38 margin of victory over 2nd place Jeff Strunk for his first win of the 2023 and his 31st Grandview career victory.

Ryan Beltz led the first two laps to only see a strong outside run by Ron Haring sweep him into the lead on lap 3.  Haring pulled away from the field until he hit lapped traffic on lap 17 while Manmiller moved into 2nd place on lap 20.  Doug Manmiller then moved into the lead on lap 25 and pulled away from the field to take the win by a 2.4 second margin victory over 2nd place Jeff Strunk.

Heat race winners for the 34 car modified field were Darrin Schuler, Ron Haring, and Ryan Grim.

 Ryan Watt won the consolation race.

Next up on Saturday, May 20 will be a two-division program under the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series banner for the T.P. Trailer 358 Modifieds and T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman. The program will consist of qualifying races leading up to the 30-lap Modified and 25-lap Sportsman main events with another round of Trivia Night.
