Craig Von Dohren came from 13th starting position and passed Kevin Hirthler on lap 13 for the lead to take his 7th points race win of the season at Grandview Speedway
Mark Kratz took the early lead for the first five laps until the first caution for a Brett Kressley flat tire. On the lap 6 restart Kevin Hirthler took over the lead to lap 12 when the second caution came out for a three car front stretch tangle that turned into a red flat that took 20 minutes to separate the cars. When racing resumed on lap 13 it was Craig Von Dohren passing Kevin Hirthler on the restart to take the lead which he would take right into victory lane for the win.
Heat winners for the 34 car modified field were Mark Kratz, , Joe Funk, and Steve Swinehart. The last chance consolation was won by Jared Umbenhauer.

The next event on the Grandview Speedway schedule is next Saturday, August 27, featuring the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds and the T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman in another NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Racing Series program, that will see the Outlaw Racing Series Vintage Racers joining the show starting at 7:30 pm.
Pit gates will open at 4 pm. with grandstand gates opening at 5:30 pm. warm-ups will be starting at 6:15 pm. Adult grandstand admission is $18, while children ages 11 and under are admitted free of charge.
