Craig Von Dohren Takes 4th Modified Win of Season and  Hirthler Brothers Sweep 602 Crate and Sportsman Wins at Grandview Speedway

Grandview Speedway held their second 602 Crate tripleheader program of the season with 106 Modified, Sportsman and 602 Crate Sportsman in the pits. 

Craig Von Dohren scored his 3^rd modified win in four races over Brett Kressley, Brett Gilmore, Doug Manmiller and Duane Howard.  Despite his three Grandview points race wins Von Dohren is already in an early too close to call points battle with Brett Kressley, Doug Manmiller, Duane Howard and Tim Buckwalter.

Brian Hirthler made his second trip this year to the sportsman victory lane taking the win over Kyle Smith and Cole Stangle  on the podium.

Kevin Hirthler won his first 602 Crate title after battling Dylan Swinehart for 5 laps and then taking the lead and cruising into victory lane with a 4 second margin of victory.  

 Craig Von Dohren charged from the 15^th starting position on the field to take his second consecutive modified win and fourth win of the season overall.  Brett Gilmore led the first 20 laps with Von Dohren taking the lead on lap 21 after a restart.  Von Dohren held on to take the win by only .23  after a hard charge by arch-rival Brett Kressley in 2^nd place.

The sportsman feature was won by Brian Hirthler who picked up his second points race win of the season coming from his 14^th starting position.  Cole Stangle was the early leader in a three car checked of from the field battle with Kyle Smith and Brian Hirthler.  Kyle Smith took the lead a lap 15 restart and was engaged with Brian Hirthler in a tight battle for the lead lap after lap.  Hirthler too a too close to call lead on lap 23 and as they entered lapped traffic Hirthler got bottled up behind a lapped car and then the caution came out before the lap was completed.  On the ensuing restart Hirthler took the checkered flag for his second points event win of the season.

Dylan Swinehart led the first 5 laps of the 602 Crate feature but on the first restart Kevin Hirthler stormed to the lead and cruised to a 4 second margin of victory for his first 602 Crate win.
