Day 3 of the Danny Serrano 100 Memorial championship weekend put a cap on three days of racing with Dominic Buffalino winning the modified 100 lap Danny Serrano 100 and Steve Davis winning the 602 Crate 40 lap All American 40.
Dominic Buffalino worked his way through the field from his 20th starting position to take the lead from Ryan Godown on lap 26 and held off a spirited assault for the lead from Ryan Godown and Billy Pauch Jr in the final laps of the 100 lap feature but in the end it was Dominic Buffalino driving into the Danny Serrano 100 victory lane.
Steve Davis battled a tuff field of 32 cars and took the lead from Ryan Godown Jr on lap 15 and was able to hold off Travis Hill for 25 laps to take the win and drive into the All American 40 victory lane.
The Danny Serrano Memorial 100 lap feature saw some of the young talent take the early lead as Matt Stangle lead for the first five laps and then Dillion Steuer moved into the lead for the next 45 laps until an expiring motor on lap 51 ended his night while leading the 100 lap feature. On lap 52 Ryan Godown moved into the 1st place while Dominic Buffalino followed and into 2nd place. Buffalino applied constant pressure on Godown every lap until he made his pass for the lead on lap 76. Buffalino had to deal with both Ryan Godown and Billy Pauch Jr. who both launched constant sliders and cross overs in the last 24 laps for the race in an attempt to take the lead but Dominic was able to counter their attempts and maintain his lead and take the win of the Danny Serrano 100. Dominic came from winning his last chance consolation and starting 20th in the 100 lap feature to victory lane.
