Day 2 of the “URC High Banks Classic” was completed at Bridgeport Motorsports Park under unseasonably warm conditions. 40 cars were on the grounds to compete for the final URC trophy of the 2020 season while Adam Carberry and Josh Weller also competing for the 2020 URC Points Championship.
Alex Bright and Austin Bishop lead the field to green with Bright charging to the lead until a lap 8 flat tire retired him to the pits. Pauly Colagiovanni inherited the lead on the lap 9 restart and never looked back and as he took the next 16 green flag laps right into victory lane for his first win of the season.
The top ten was rounded out by Ryan Smith, Briggs Danner, Chuck Hebing, Derek Locke, Jason Shultz, Tyler Ross, Josh Weller, Adam Carberry and Troy Betts.

URC Pit Notes
A two day battle for the URC 2020 championship came do the final race of the season with only 13 points between points leader Adam Carberry and Josh Weller. Weller was 9 positions ahead of Carberry and heading for the championship when he struck JJ Grasso and damaged his suspension. Carberry was able to close the gap and move to a 9th place finish while Weller fell to an 8th place finish which gave Carberry enough points to win the championship by 7 points over Weller.
Ryan Smith charged to a 2nd place finish from an 11th starting spot and together with 5th place Friday night finish and won the Midge Miller Cup which is awarded to the best 2 day finish of the High Banks Classic Weekend.
Newcomer Briggs Danner in the 5G entry got his first podium finish with a 3rd place finish.
Jason Schultz charged to a 6th place finish from a 20th starting spot to earn the hard charger of the night.
